FUND RAISING INITIATIVE TO RESTORE THE DIGNITY OF VULNERABLE PEOPLE

Old Mutual and the Broll Property Group have committed to assist Deputy Minister Kota-Fredericks with the construction of descent, quality homes for the beneficiaries of the Siyahlola Transformation Golf Challenge.

The annual Siyahlola Transformation Golf Challenge is an initiative aimed at mobilising sector stakeholders and resources to contribute meaningfully in the fight against issues posing a threat to the socio-economic sustainability of vulnerable people’s livelihoods, especially women.

Women struggle stalwart and political detainee, Ms Caroline Dunga, born on 20 March 1930 in Retreat Township, Cape Town and another beneficiary, Nomahlubi Mbulu a mother of 4 children, some with disabilities are amongst the first beneficiaries who will receive assistance from proceeds raised through this initiative.

The Golf Challenge taking place tomorrow, 13 October 2017 at the Steenberg Golf Club, Tokai in Cape Town will also be attended by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Elizabeth Thabethe and Private Sector Stakeholders.
